A Sky Full of Life

Broomx’s technology has found a new home at Madrid’s Plaza Rio 2 shopping center. The experience called “A sky full of life” was presented in in the framework of Animario: Madrid International Festival of Contemporary Animation, an event organized by Cineteca and Matadero: Centro de Creación Contemporánea that took place for five days in November of 2021.  Due to its success, the experience will continue until the summer of 2022.

Public Success and Consolidation in Plaza Rio 2

More than 2,000 people enjoyed the experience during the opening weekend, and more than 750 diverse drawings were projected that brought the sky of the mall’s immersive room to life. The enthusiasm generated by the attraction made those responsible for Plaza Río 2 decide that the experience would form part of the leisure offer of the shopping center and maintain it for the following months, until summer 2022. They also thought that it would be interesting if the scenarios were changed depending on the time of year or different themes. Thus, at Christmas 2021, Broomx prepared a Christmas-themed experience open to the public throughout the Christmas period.

An Activity for the Whole Family

“A sky full of life” is Broomx’s interactive attraction that allows the audience to color, scan, and instantly view their drawings in an immersive projection, bringing the animated city sky to life.

This activity was created for the whole public, along with immersive technology, artificial intelligence and creativity so that everyone can participate in collective, digital, and ephemeral artistic experiences in time.

The surprised and happy faces of children, young people and people of different ages when they see their drawings appear in the sky of the immersive city is priceless. This experience does not require a large infrastructure or personnel specially dedicated to managing the attraction; it generates great interest and satisfaction among the public, especially family members, and helps to position the center as a playful and creative space beyond the activity commercial.
