University Psychology Day
On April 23rd, we had the honor of participating in the “31st Setmana Psicològica” at the University of Girona, organized by the Association for Research and Promotion of Psychology (ARPP), with the collaboration of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, the Department of Psychology, the Coordination of Psychology Studies, the La Caixa Foundation, and the Official College of Psychologists of Catalonia.
The “Setmana Psicològica” is an annual event held within the Psychology program. During these days, a series of conferences and workshops take place, addressing various relevant topics in contemporary Psychology.

Our presentation focused on the use of immersive technologies in the field of psychological intervention, showcasing specific use cases across different user profiles, the outcomes of the projects we have developed, and the process we followed to launch these initiatives.

We shared the stage with psychologist Xavier Vinuesa from Suara Cooperativa, who is leading the EMOTIO project. Its goal is to validate and demonstrate immersive reality as a tool in the therapeutic and empowering processes offered by professionals to young people, enhancing their well-being and psychosocial support. Around 200 young participants are involved in the project, which is now in its second phase, with very promising initial results.
