An international recognition
Suara Cooperativa has been awarded at the SilverEco & Ageing Well International Awards 2025 for its project Wellbeing Immersive for Elderly People, developed in collaboration with CST and using Broomx immersive technology. The awards were presented yesterday at the final ceremony in Cannes, France.
Immersion for well-Being
The project, led by Suara’s Social Digital Lab, uses immersive experiences created with Broomx to enhance the emotional and cognitive well-being of older adults. Enveloping projections, natural landscapes, and sensory stimuli become tools to connect, relax, and evoke memories.

Strategic Collaboration between Broomx and Suara Cooperativa
The collaboration between Broomx and Suara Cooperativa began in 2021 with a pilot mindfulness project aimed at the cooperative’s professionals. It soon became clear that immersive reality had significant potential to enhance the well-being of older adults. This led both organizations, in collaboration with the Centre de Suport Tecnològic (CST), to develop a series of innovative projects: Revive, Emotia, Virtual Dona, among others.
These projects use immersive reality as an effective tool to enhance emotional well-being, cognitive functions, and quality of life for older adults. In addition, the interventions are designed to be more engaging and to improve adherence to the therapies implemented across Suara’s various services.
Over time, these initiatives have been integrated into various centers and services of the cooperative, allowing for the improvement and optimization of intervention protocols thanks to the joint experience with CST. The receipt of the SilverEco Award 2025 represents a significant milestone, consolidating the project and opening new opportunities for its international expansion.
