Go big, or go to Texas!
Iconic filmmaker Brett Leonard presented his new movies powered by the MK360 during the SXSW event in Austin, Texas. The event counted with a public of over 230,000 attendees and 5,000 speakers coming from all over the world.
Leonard’s 360 film debut
Leonard has made cinematic history by debuting his movie at the VR lounge, where the audience could collectively experience an immersive experience without using VR headsets. The film is a hybrid between 360 videos and a collective storytelling experience that can also be experienced in movie theatres.

Immersive wave
When asked about how the project can impact the VR industry, Leonard states, “Our aim is to inspire an immersive new wave of storytelling combining classic cinematic technique with the intimacy afforded by virtual reality, allowing audiences to be more engaged with the story, character and emotion in the immersive experience.”
