New clinical case in Sant Joan De Déu, Serveis SocioSanitaris

 

Sant Joan de Déu Serveis SocioSanitaris is an organization providing comprehensive care to people who need significant support for their autonomy due to their lack or loss of physical, psychic or intellectual capacity intellectual based in Esplugues de Llobregat (Spain). The organization has carried out a clinical case that has recently been published at eFisioterapia journal about an 86-year-old woman who was admitted to the social health center after a surgery to replace the DHS osteosynthesis system, followed by various complications.

 

To carry out the clinical case, a hydrotherapy cabin from the company Isensi and our immersive therapy technology have been used together with functional activities for the re-education of gait, the improvement of balance and tolerance to effort.
