The new frontier in healthcare and wellness
Broomx and Suara Cooperativa brought together over 150 healthcare and social care professionals in a conference dedicated to immersive reality therapies. This event, which took place in Barcelona on May 31st, provided an opportunity to learn about the experiences of prominent medical and social care centres and to present Suara’s initiative in this field.

At the conference, prominent healthcare and social care centres presented their successful experiences with immersive reality therapies. Examples of such centres include the Fundació Hospital d’Olot I Comarcal de la Garrotxa, Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Aragón, Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, Institut d’Assistència Sanitària de Girona, Fundació Villablanca, Fundació Nostra Senyora Meritxell d’Andorra, and the Isom entity from Figueres. As shown through their feedback, these therapies offer innovative and effective alternatives to improve patient care and well-being by improving various emotional, cognitive, and neurorehabilitation situations.
The presentations on immersive technology applied to the improvement of mental health and emotional well-being, as well as the care for groups with functional diversity (intellectual disabilities, autism, etc.), and the various projects of neurorehabilitation for patients with sequelae caused by stroke, patients with persistent COVID symptoms, or patients with cognitive impairment due to the effects of chemotherapy, were followed with great interest by the attendees.
Upcoming Innovations in Immersive Technology
Broomx took the opportunity to explain some of the upcoming innovations they are working on. Over the past years, it has been recognized how important it is to closely monitor patients, measure and collect data on their progress, as well as personalize treatments for each individual. With this in mind, Broomx is in the final stages of developing a new platform that will provide healthcare professionals with better control and monitoring of their patients. Additionally, it will enable improved management of available therapeutic content and programs, as well as the creation of new ones.
Broomx is also working on developing new, advanced, and refined applications and therapeutic programs. These will be tailored to the specific needs of different healthcare organizations and the diverse profiles of users, ensuring inclusivity for all individuals who benefit from their technology.
Lastly, to enhance personalization, treatment effectiveness, and adherence, Broomx has initiated a new line of work: creating their own artificial intelligence. With this tool, professionals will be able to better track the progress of their patients and further improve therapeutic programs by adapting them to the unique reality of each user.
