Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Fundació iSocial to our HQ. They hosted a workshop for a group interested in learning about how immersive technology can innovate the social sphere. iSocial promotes innovation in social services in order to contribute to the progress of the social welfare system and improve its transformative impact on society.
How immersive technology can innovate the social sphere
Twenty professionals from the member entities of iSocial have participated in the four sessions held at Broomx’s headquarters in Barcelona. There they were able to see firsthand the MK360 creating immersive experiences and then discuss its possible uses in the fields of dementia, intellectual disability, youth mental health, addictions, conduct disorders, and gender violence, among others.
Brainstorming session
After learning about immersive technology and seeing it in action in our showroom, a brainstorming session took place where the workshop participants had the chance to explore the various cases where using immersive technology can positively impact their social endeavors. We can’t wait to see how we can work together to create a transformative impact on society through immersive technologies.
